About the Marina

Situated in Falmouth Harbour, the Antigua Yacht Club Marina is ideally located among shops, boutiques and restaurants. The historic Nelson's Dockyard is just a few minutes walk away as well as the beautiful "Pigeon" beach.

Boats drawing up to 25 feet are able to be accommodated stern to/alongside and all berths have water and electricity (110, 220, 380 Volts up to 400 amps). The AYC Marina features an exclusive on the water complex which includes a gourmet Restaurant, a Travel agent, chandlery, 2 cafes, supermarket and liquor store, 3 boutiques, a book shop and much more. The AYC Marina offers duty free fuel facilities and a new system of delivering fuel that allows you to pump directly to your slip at up to 250 litres per minute.

Wireless internet connection available all over the AYC Marina area.

The AYC Marina hosts the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta in April followed by the Antigua Sailing Week.

Dockage

Daily Rates:

  • Up to 75 feet: $1.50 USD per foot
  • Up to 175 feet: $1.75 USD per foot
  • Over 175 feet: $ Prices vary according to the length (Ex. 182'=182x1,82)
  • Catamarans: apply above dockage rates to length x 1.5
  • Alongside: a premium of 50% applies

Long Term Dockage:

  • Discounted rates apply for long-term dockage; details are available on request from the marina office.

Check out time is 12 noon, slips occupied after noon will be charged for the day. Boats drawing up to 25 feet can be accommodated stern to or alongside. All berths have water and electricity.

Power

Antigua Yacht Club Marina can supply power directly to your slip via a number of options:

Price depends on type and consumption of electricity.

Our dock technicians will quote prices and supply a plug to permit connection to our European-style outlets. Plugs are supplied under a deposit of $200 USD cash. If not returned when you leave the marina we will not refund the deposit. Engineers are responsible for ensuring that the yachts equipment is capable of correct operation at the supplied voltage, phase and frequency. Please note that electricity is very expensive in Antigua. Please note that our electricians will check the power consumption all the time and in case this is higher than what has been declared by the engineers, the yacht will be charged for the correct rate as per rate sheet from the first day of connection.

Water

Antigua has very low rainfall; as a result the public water supply is produced via desalination, and is expensive. Water is supplied to your slip via metered outlet, and the meters are read daily. Water is charged as follows:

  • 15c US per gallon

Internet Access

Wireless Internet available at all slips:

  • 1 day: $10.00 USD + 15% ABST
  • 1 week: $45.00 USD + 15% ABST
  • 1 month: $100.00 USD + 15% ABST

Garbage Facility

Please be aware that the garbage pick up will be between 08.00 a.m. and 09.00 a.m. every day. Deliver directly to the truck and please do NOT leave garbage on the dock at any time. Thank you in helping us to keep the environment clean.

  • $10.00 USD daily for boats up to 75 feet
  • $35.00 USD weekly for boats up to 75 feet
  • $15.00 USD daily for boats over 75 feet
  • $85.00 USD weekly for boats over 75 feet

Fuel

Please check the price of fuel at the Office. To process the documents for duty free diesel it takes at least 1 day, so please give us 2 days notice minimum. The removal of dirty oil charge is $150.00USD per every 55gal drum.

Dinghy Dock

The use of the dinghy dock is reserved to our guests or for load and unload only. Dinghies staying overnight have to check in with the Marina Office. Rates are:

  • $10.00 per day
  • $150.00USD per month

Health Club

Marina guests waive initiation fees, are regarded as Members and only have to cover admission rate to use the Health Club.

Gym Rates

  • Day $12.00 USD
  • Week $60.00 USD
  • Month $120.00USD
  • Annual $900.00USD

Turkish Bath

Use of the Turkish Bath is charged on a daily basis of $15.00USD.

Exchange rate for credit cards is $1.00 USD = $2.56 ECD.
