RESTAURANT
Southern Cross Italian Restaurant
Not a new restaurant, rather a re-opening of an old classic, Southern Cross. Located upstairs at the Antigua Yacht Club Marina with arguably one of the most exclusive views on the island, if you have never sneaked up the steps to take a look, now is the time.
Styled entirely in beautiful polished wood, this large dining room has views on three sides of the yachts moored in Falmouth Harbour. It is not unusual to be dining looking straight into a multi million dollar mega yacht, or in quieter times the comings and goings of the yachts into the harbour.
Managed by Chef Davide and his team including front of house Leonardo, this energetic young duo aim to deliver a grown up dining experience with cuisine from Tuscany in Central Italy. Davide’s background spans twenty six years of delivering excellent food in a four star hotel in Italy, while Leonardo has travelled Europe including Denmark, Barcelona and back to Italy, before heading to Antigua.
Schedule
The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week and serves both the Antigua Yacht Club Marina Resort as well as visitors and residents of Antigua. Breakfast starts at 7am and will include everything from croissants, muffins and pancakes to continental and English Breakfast. Of course all served with a super charged cup of espresso or cappuccino.
Between lunch and dinner, there will of course be that golden two hours of Italian hospitality, apperitivo - enjoy a glass of prosecco or wine between 5pm and 7pm with finger foods, before heading into dinner. From the West side of the restaurant stunning sunset views across the harbour can be enjoyed.
Opening Hours
Opening hours are 7am - 11am for breakfast, 12pm - 3pm for lunch, and 7pm - 10pm for dinner. The restaurant is also available for private functions and large groups.
